About Mary Mangold

I began moonlighting as a hobby web designer in the late 1980’s when the Internet was still only something that a computer geek might be fascinated by, certainly not the entire world.   During those early years, I knew little but had the passion and desire to learn. 

In 1999, my husband and I moved from Florida to the Central region of Idaho to find a more peaceful life, out of the heat and the rif raf of city life.  It is that year that Wild Web West was born.  After years of my moonlighting and learning cycles, I was ready to trade my knowledge of website design for an income that might sustain my lust for all things internet related.  It worked.  Nine years later, I continue to work on website after website, having developed a level of satisfaction with my clients that has grown my company from a few websites to having designed over 125 websites through the course of the years.

Having enjoyed satisfying my clients and offered many great deals as I learned more and added more and more designs to my portfolio, I am proud to say that in all these years, I have never spent more than $200 on advertising my web business.  Every client drawn to me has been through word of mouth advertising.  I’m very proud of that achievement and continue to evolve my business and my career as a web designer, developer and consultant. 

Being a web designer means that I am immersed in the most wonderful dream job!
